Greetings Everyone:
It has taken awhile, but we are making great strides in updating our website, along with communicating our mission and connecting with our members. Be sure to keep checking back for more updates and exciting new aspects this summer.
The 2025 Maryland General Assembly ended in mixed reviews. While the State of Maryland was very focused on our budget challenges, all of the proposed legislation that directly pertains to our industry did not pass. Our new Legislative Manager, Marty Lostrom remains busy engaging our elected officials in the "off season" pertaining to the importance of student transportation across our state. Our Legislation Page here has its final updated for 2025. Be sure to review this page as many of these issues will likely return in the 2026 session. In addition, Marty will be reaching out to many of you regarding your membership and how we can better serve your busineses.
Our Summer Membership Business Meeting is confirmed for Sat. May 31 at Salerno's Resaurant in Eldersburg. Information and how to RSVP is located here on the website under Events. Please be sure to join us. This will be our last meeting before the Fall Anuall Convention.
Speaking of the the Fall Annual Convention, it is confirmed for the weekend of October 17-18 at the Embassey Suites Hotel at BWI Airport. Be sure to mark your calendars now for both these events. Your association needs your participation and voice.
